Want to lose a few pounds ready for that special event at the weekend?
Follow this one week diet plan and you could easily feel thinner, or
fit in that dress that is just a bit too tight now.
Drink plenty of waterIf you have more to drink you will
feel more full up and therefore reach for food less often. It has
the added benefit of making your skin look younger and less wrinkled
ready for your special day.
Eat 3 pieces of fruit before lunch
If you are eating fruit your body will still feel like it is
eating and therefore you will get some satisfaction from it, but it
will also make you feel fuller so hopefully you will want to eat a
smaller lunch.
Don't eat foods that make you bloat
Foods like onions and beans (and many more besides) can give you
lots of wind and result in a really bloated stomach. Although you
wont actually be any lighter, you will look slimmer if you avoid
these foods on the lead up to your special event.
Cut out the sugary and fatty snacks
If you usually snack on crisps, chocolate and sweets, cut these
out. You will have more energy and may lose a pound.
Exercise a bit more
If you take a brisk walk of just half an hour each day you will
be using up some of those calories that you take in through the day.
You can always do exercise for longer, the more you do the more
weight you will lose. You can try cycling, swimming or some
exercises at home if you don't want to venture to a gym.
Have smaller portions
For short term weight loss you can reduce your portion size a
bit. If you don't like seeing your plate too empty, pile on the
vegetables instead of the carbs and proteins.
